Overall responsibilities include implementation of College of Medicine and University of Florida policies and procedures; preparation and analysis of budgets (current annual operating budget of ~$9 million), financial reports and clinical operations; administration of personnel policies and procedures; design and implementation of administrative systems; acquisition, maintenance and inventory of divisional equipment and supplies; and oversight of space allocation, maintenance and renovation of the divisional physical environment. The Division Administrator has substantial managerial responsibility and requires a broad range of skills and the exercise of considerable judgment and initiative. Working in concert with the Division Chief, the Division Administrator must align the Division’s financial and administrative procedures with College of Medicine, UF Health, and University of Florida objectives by establishing systems to ensure compliance. |
