UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a(n) professional level Application Developer Analyst to join the Applications, Development and Integrations Team, a unit within UFIT.

The Applications, Development and Integrations Team is focused on building and enhancing enterprise solutions to support critical business processes for the University of Florida. We are looking for skilled team members who enjoy using their creative talents to produce business solutions which address the needs of our customers. You will participate in projects to solve business problems and create efficiency. You will work in a collaborative, team environment, participate in the full software development life-cycle and produce quality enterprise solutions. You will be required to meet with customers, analyze requirements, propose solutions, create design specifications and prototypes, develop and test new code and document solutions. You will perform enhancements and help maintain existing applications. You must have excellent communication skills, keep current with the latest trends in application development and have a history of producing quality work. Qualified candidates will have working experience with one or more programming languages as well as SQL (structured query language) and database design.

Benefits
Full-time TEAMS employees accrue vacation leave at a rate of 6.769 hours biweekly/22 days annually and sick leave at 4 hours biweekly/13 days annually. In addition, employees are eligible for ten paid holidays each year.
Vacation-accruing TEAMS employees are eligible for four personal leave days/32 hours per year, assuming full-time status. These leave days may allow units to close from December 26 to 31, when possible, determined on a unit-by-unit basis.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled team member who enjoys using their creative talents to produce business solutions which address the needs of our customers and experience with the following:
The ideal candidate will possess the following education, experience, and skills:
- 3+ years' experience with PeopleTools 8.55 or above and one or more of PeopleSoft HCM, Finance or Campus Solutions.
- Significant hands-on experience and knowledge of SQL, SQR, Application Engine, People Code, Component Interfaces, Application Messaging, Application Packages, Integration Broker, Web Services, XML publisher and other PeopleTools.
- Must have hands on demonstrated working knowledge of Java Script, HTML and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in working with Oracle Databases, PS SQL, Performance tuning (use database tools to examine table structures, indexes and other database objects), knowledge of data export/import.
- Must have strong experience creating new and modifying existing on-line functionalities using Peopletools.
- Strong knowledge of and adherence to SDLC process and implementing best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.
- Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
