The Lillian S. The Department of Neurosurgery offers education and training programs such as ACGME-accredited neurosurgery residency programs and fellowship programs.
The Finance Manager supports the overall management and administrative direction of all aspects of the department’s fund management, accounting, and financial activities. The sources of funds include unrestricted and restricted revenue sources such as clinical revenue, research-funded projects, grants, contracted revenue, funding from state appropriations, and foundation funds.
The Finance Manager ensures the organization's accounting policies and practices are followed per university policy and generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP). The finance manager manages the department's financial record keeping, reporting, and other accounting functions as per College of Medicine requirements. This position also assists in the analysis of effective accounting practices, maintains best financial practices, and recommends future direction for functional policies and programs. |
