Student Assistant - Marketing

• Must be a current University of Florida student with good academic and conduct standing.
• Must be at least a second-year student enrolled in a journalism, advertising, public relations, marketing or another related major.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with updating UF main calendar
• Assist with digital ad setup and digital ad monitoring
• Update website content on SCM websites
• Help create reports that consolidate all marketing metrics into a single, centralized document
• Conduct social media platforms and trend research
• Track social media KPIs and industry benchmarks
• Assist with social media monitoring, moderation and content creation
• Assist with other marketing and social media projects as assigned

$15.00/hr

• Ability to read, write and communicate professionally. 
• This candidate will be expected to work 15 - 20 hours per week in-person, preferably at least three days a week within the office's business hours (Monday – Friday, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Proficient copywriting skills.
• Experience with Google Analytics  
• Experience editing websites via WYSIYG editors.
• Experience with social media monitoring software
• Experience managing social media platforms for a brand
• Experience tracking and updating projects within a project management system.
