The University of Florida is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Registrar Services Coordinator I. In this role, you will provide support in evaluating, compiling, and entering data related to employee education tuition waiver programs, high school dual enrollment, distance learning, international studies, special programs, and other non-traditional programs.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Program Management
- Assist with managing the University of Florida’s current distance education programs, high school dual enrollment, and special programs.
- Provide daily support to departments and colleges on issues unique to this population, including non-degree enrollment, drop/add, withdrawals, and grade assignments.
- Coordinate application processing for tuition waiver programs, including the Employee Education Program, State Agency Employee Tuition Fee Waiver, and Santa Fe-UF Employee Education Exchange Program.
- Work with students, departments, University Bursar, and the Office of Human Resource Services to ensure a cohesive process.
- Collect and analyze data to send reports for these student populations on a bi-weekly and termly basis.
- Research and analyze complex problems and recommend and implement appropriate resolutions.
Student and Staff Support
- Provide support to frontline staff in their daily interactions with clients on many complex procedures.
- Keep the area updated on all policy and procedural changes by providing area-specific training on special programs, employee tuition waivers, distance education programs, and related processes.
- Assist with the selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of Federal Work Study student assistants and OPS staff.
- Participate in area and office-wide staff meetings as a participant and presenter.
Other Duties
- Continually review internal procedures, systems, and record-keeping methods.
- Cross-train to assist in various office areas during peak workload periods, such as registration, room scheduling, commencement, grade processing, and imaging.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL. The selected candidate will work on site and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.

Expected Salary: |
$43,888 annually
