Job Description:

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated, part-time Documentation Specialist to join Academic Technology.

Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with employees who are dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the entire University of Florida community.

Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:

  • Collaborate with training designers and incorporate feedback as part of the work process
  • Create technical documentation and user guides
  • Assist with creating visually appealing Web sites accessible to all users. 
  • Able to provide quality customer service
  • Possess a working knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus

Expected Salary:

$15.00/hr

Minimum Requirements:

UF Student Assistant

This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average.

OPS 

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

At least 18 years of age by start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Detail oriented
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including Excel
  • Possess working knowledge of HTML and CSS
