Job Description:

Develop, implement, and lead and/or collaborate on various graduate student success initiatives in the areas of retention, professional development, and graduate student engagement.
These efforts may include but are not limited to asynchronous and synchronous resources/training for graduate students, faculty, and staff, including courses, presentations, workshops, deliverables, supporting materials, and individual consultations. Work closely with other Graduate School and campus units to deliver materials, including presentations and resources, on a variety of topics to graduate students, faculty, and staff, including to specific populations.

Contribute to/lead as needed existing and future programs in the areas of orientation, retention, professional development, etc.

Consults with key stakeholders in the graduate education community to assess needs for future trainings for graduate students, faculty and staff.

Contribute to research, assessment, and data analysis of factors contributing to retention and graduate student success.

Contribute to other tasks as assigned.

Expected Salary:

$55,000 - $70,000; commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and six years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree (Masters, PhD or other advanced degree)
Experience with graduate education, graduate student success, graduate student retention, and graduate student affairs
Experience in assessment
Experience teaching and/or facilitating training
Experience using teaching and learning technology
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with administrators, staff and applicants to UF
Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and interpersonal
Experience in managing multiple projects and leading teams
