Responsibilities:
Data infrastructure management
- Supervises and provides complex technical design, implementation, maintenance, administration, and support of cloud and on-premise data infrastructure.
- Identifies, evaluates, supports, and solves complex issues related to storage, reporting, analysis, and sharing of data within UF’s guidelines, IRB, and state and federal requirements.
Data project leadership
- Participates in the planning and administration of data project budgets.
- Resolves escalated problems referred by leaders or staff.
- Prepares long and short-range plans for selection, systems development, systems maintenance, production activities and for necessary support resources related to the center’s data needs and goals.
- Plans and coordinates project schedules and related activities.
Data team supervision
- Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of members of the data management team.
Other duties as assigned
Will travel for assigned business purpose minimally (1-2/quarter)

Allowing employees to stagger arrival and departure times as necessary and to vary the number of workdays in the office so long as an employee’s FTE commitment is fulfilled within the university workweek. This policy also allows for occasional, incidental remote work based on individual circumstances.
