The work location for this position is in the Clinical Translational Research Building, located on the University of Florida campus. The incumbent will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) and faculty with the implementation of research activities for both industry and NIH sponsored clinical trials. The ImagingNMD UF network seeks a diligent, detail-oriented individual to assist with multiple industry sponsored clinical trials and government sponsored research studies collecting and analyzing magnetic resonance (MR) data and assisting with research participant visits. The incumbent will work as a member of the ImagingNMD Network with study key personnel to ensure compliance with the protocol requirements and regulatory standards. Primary responsibilities involve assisting with the conduction of clinical research, reading MR data, and assisting with onsite participant research activities. This position requires excellent communication, outstanding organizational skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, and an ability to multi-task. The ImagingNMD UF research team brings researchers from throughout UF campus, industry, and other institutions together in a collaborative effort to further the understanding and treatment of neuromuscular diseases, including Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This research team facilitates clinical studies and trials focused on neuromuscular diseases and is engaged in national and international collaborative research efforts.
