The successful postdoctoral candidate will be part of the Gunduz lab (http://brainmappinglab.org) at the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. The research will be focused on the development and testing of new theories of pathophysiology of neural disorders, network communication and neuromodulation using high-resolution electrophysiological signals in humans. The incumbent will be expected to be involved in all aspects of this research, which includes experimental design, neural data collection with our clinical collaborators at UF Shands Hospital, method development, signal analysis and interpretation, manuscript preparation, and grant development. The J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering is one of only a few departments in the nation to be co-localized with a top-ranked medical school, veterinary school and dental school.
