OPS - Time Limited

The College of Dentistry is recruiting for an OPS Insurance Clerk to assist with filing insurance claims via third party payor portals, and paper for services rendered.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring insurance Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports
• Following up on unpaid balances
• Assisting with answering telephones
• Answering patient and staff questions related to insurance claims filing
• Assisting with projects related to outstanding insurance AR
• Claims filings with third party payors using portals and via paper (Medicaid/Medicare and various commercial payors)
• Post insurance payments received from payors
• Assist with projects related to insurance AR.

$16.00 - $17.00 Per hour

High School diploma and one year of appropriate experience

• Experience posting insurance claims
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
