UF Research Integrity, Security and Compliance (RISC) is UF Research’s primary Division responsible for developing and implementing research compliance programs that promote ethical and legally compliant research practices throughout UF’s research enterprise. This position is the second in the five-level compliance analysist series. The Compliance Analyst will assist UF RISC in execution of the research conflict of interest and other compliance functions. The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for processing reviews and approvals, including awards and agreements, Outside Activities and Financial Interests, human subjects research protocols and license agreements. The Specialist will assist in ensuring compliance with federal and sponsor conflict of interest policies; including, evaluating disclosed interests, coordinating approval processes, drafting management plans, and assisting UF RISC leadership in developing policies and procedures. The incumbent will work with many compliance, regulatory, administrative and advisory units on campus to help faculty and staff eliminate, minimize, or manage actual or potential financial conflicts of interest related to research.
