Job Description: |
[45%] - Performs fabrications, using analog and digital workflows of dental prosthesis including but not limited to: removable, fixed, maxillofacial and implant prostheses (complete and partial).
[25%] - Performs fabrications of dental base w/ wax rims, custom trays, setting teeth, wax ups, mouth guards/Essex guards, denture repairs, flippers, duplicating dentures, and other emergency repairs.
[20%] - Maintains general laboratory efficiency and cleanliness of laboratory areas. Ensures that health and safety practices are maintained in accordance with University of Florida and College of Dentistry policies.
[10%] – Maintains calibration of equipment, updating software and making sure equipment are properly cleaned per manufacturer’s recommendations.

EXPERIENCE: 4 years of experience in the field of dental technology and digital design 4 years of experience in a dental laboratory Experience with Ivoclar/3 Shape Designing Technology/Software and/or experience with various computer-aided design software and different additive and subtractive technologies.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Proficient in designing, milling, 3D printing dental prostheses Previous experience in utilizing digital technology for the design and fabrication using analog and digital workflows of dental prosthesis including but not limited to: removable, fixed, maxillofacial and implant prostheses (complete and partial).
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to stand for extended periods of time
