Join the Office of Continuing Medical Education as the Administrative Support Assistant II, serving as an integral member of the team. Reporting directly to the Associate Director, this position plays a key role in supporting the operational efficiency of the office by facilitating communication and coordination across departments within the College of Medicine.
The successful incumbent ensures compliance with accreditation standards and contributes to the successful planning and execution of continuing education activities, fostering a culture of excellence in lifelong learning for medical professionals.
About This Role:
Departmental Liaison and Continuing Medical Education Activities Oversight
- Act as the primary point of contact for College of Medicine departments in the oversight of Grand Rounds and other regular educational events.
- Review submitted documentation for CME activities to ensure alignment with established policies, accuracy, and completeness.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of Grand Rounds activities, tracking compliance with essential elements.
- Manage attendance records through the registration system and state licensure system.
Coordination of Departmental CME Activities
- Collaborate closely with departmental coordinators to facilitate both live and online CME activities.
- Review application and marketing materials to ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Oversee the coordination of website updates and registration services for these activities.
Support for On-site Conferences
- Assist during on-site conferences, providing logistical and administrative support as needed.
Participant Communication and Enquiries
- Respond to incoming calls and participant inquiries, offering prompt and courteous assistance.

| Expected Salary: |
$19 - $21.50; commensurate with education and experience.
