The Cancer Informatics Shared Resource (CISR) within the UF Health Cancer Center (UFHCC) is to facilitate UFHCC business operations, clinical care, quality improvements, and strategic planning, as well as cancer investigators to navigate the complex data and informatics resources including internal and external data sources as well as data management, processing, analytics, and informatics tools and methods. The CISR also provides oversight, data management and support for research initiatives within UFHCC to meet responsibilities expected by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in fulfilling the requirements of an NCI-designated cancer center. Under the direction of the Technical Lead and the leadership of the CISR, the Data Management Analyst III (DMA III) will focus on the development and implementation of custom resources and tools to integrate the OnCore data with other critical data resources such as participants’ electronic health records (EHRs) data in the Cancer Enterprise Data Warehouse (Cancer EDW). The Cancer EDW is being co-developed by the CISR and the UF Health Integrated Data Repository (IDR) as part of UF Health’s enterprise data warehouse, that hosts both clinical and research data. The DMA III will be expected to assist in critical analyses, and enhance reporting capabilities, design, and management of data systems. Additionally, the ADA I will play a critical part in ensuring data quality and integrity, working closely with partners of the UFHCC, including the UF Health IDR, UF IT, UF Health IT, among others.
