| Job Description: |
The Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Success seeks a collaborative and student-focused Pre-Health Coordinator within its university-wide advising structure. Reporting to the Assistant Provost for University Advising and Student Success, this 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position guides campus-wide pre-health advising engagement, stakeholder relations, and programming across UF’s decentralized advising environment. The coordinator will champion communication, professional development, assessment, and centralized resources to support advisors and students pursuing pre-health pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate university-wide pre-health advising initiatives and cultivate collaborative relationships with advising units, faculty, colleges, professional schools, and external partners
- Manage and grow a central Pre-Health Stakeholder Contact Database and support the Pre-Health Advisory Council
- Plan and deliver pre-health advisor training and professional development events, including annual kickoff and application workshops
- Develop and coordinate targeted student programming such as personal statement and mock interview workshops
- Develop and maintain the Pre-Health website and centralized communication tools, including student opt-in indicators, to support clear, consistent messaging and access to resources
- Represent UF at campus events including orientation sessions, open houses, and yield activities to inform prospective and current students about pre-health pathways
- Collect, analyze, and report data to assess program outcomes and inform strategic planning
- Contribute to broader advising and student success initiatives within Undergraduate Education and Student Success
- Perform other related duties as assigned

| Expected Salary: |
$80,000 - $85,000 annually; commensurate with education and experience.

Experience supporting pre-health advising or health professions preparation in higher education, with strong communication, collaboration, and program development skills in a decentralized advising environment.
