| Job Description: |
The Social Management Student Assistant supports the operational functions of the Warrington College of Business social media program at the University of Florida. This role ensures consistent publishing, organized workflows, and smooth digital operations. Occasional event coverage or support may be required, including evenings as needed.
This position offers students hands-on communications experience at a top public university while building a real-world professional portfolio in social media management, analytics, copywriting, digital operations, and much more.
Key responsabilities:
- Maintain and update social media calendars in Sprout Social
- Track and organize project workflows in Airtable
- Pull and compile weekly and monthly analytics
- Adapt newsroom articles, faculty stories, and event recaps into social copy
- Assist with community management
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries
- Support coordination with student creators and campus partners
- Conduct light research on peer institutions and communication trends
- Assist with building or using AI tools or workflows for repetitive tasks
This is a part-time position, with 10-20 hours per week available depending on availability and project needs.

| Preferred Qualifications: |
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with social media management or content creation
- Experience with Airtable, Sprout Social, or Adobe Suite
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets
