Job Description:

An enthusiastic undergraduate research assistant is required to help facilitate a funded research project to help cancer survivors become more physically active through mentored outdoor cycling. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and enthusiastic, and able to clearly communicate to cancer survivors who are taking part in the research project.

The undergraduate research assistant will be expected to:

  • Coordinate with research team members to be present for initial orientation sessions with participants
  • Administer cycling-related research assessments
  • Support Research Support Specialist (bike mechanic) during orientation sessions with participants
  • Assist in research intervention development and administration
  • Attend cancer survivor-oriented events to recruit potential participants

This position is time limited.

Expected Salary:

$15.00/Hour, 5-10 hours/week

Required Qualifications:

Currently enrolled as UF undergraduate student.

Outdoor bicycle riding experience required.

Preferred:

Research experience preferred.
