Job Description:

Financial Analytics & Reporting: Build and run financial reporting across FS systems (MyUFL/Workday Financials during/after transition, MyUFMarketplace, Kronos, AIM and other data systems). Deliver dashboards and automated reports; analyze trends; ensure data quality; and handle ad hoc requests. Cost & budget support: cost allocation, variance analysis, metrics for forecasting, rate development, and long-range planning. Capital & O&M insight: analyze capital funding, deferred maintenance, and operating-cost trends (labor, premium pay, vendors, utilities). Facilities finance modeling: maintain utility/operations/service-delivery models (recharge rates, labor burden, vendor runrates). Conduct data system tests to verify quality and timeliness and generate ad hoc analyses and reports for senior management. Assist in maintaining and updating business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, and other reporting systems.

Business Analysis Collaborate with the Finance team and cross-functional departments to assess current financial and business processes, including their integration with technology, and identify present and future needs. Develop solutions to address these needs, particularly in financial data management, reporting, and software systems. Responsibilities include defining configuration specifications, designing and reviewing test cases, and supporting the design, documentation, and maintenance of system processes. Serve as a liaison between Finance, end users, and technical support, working with management, departments, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to understand financial challenges and translate requirements into actionable solutions

Automation, Process Improvement, and Training Lead efforts to automate repetitive tasks and processes related to data management and reporting. Implement solutions to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and improve the accuracy of data-driven decisions. Develop and maintain automated systems for financial reporting, data integration, and process monitoring. Provide training and guidance to end users on new automation tools, workflows, and best practices to ensure effective adoption. Create user documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources to support long-term process sustainability. Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, and update workflows as needed to maintain reliability and scalability. 

Expected Salary:

$75,000.00 to $85,000.00 Annually

Technical Skills:

Proven proficiency with enterprise financial systems (e.g., Workday, MyUFL, MyUFMarketplace, Kronos, or similar), business intelligence tools, and dashboard/reporting software. Strong skills in data visualization, SQL, and Excel; experience with automation tools.

Process Improvement:

Experience leading process improvement and automation projects, including workflow analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and implementation.

Change Management:

Experience providing user training, developing documentation, and supporting adoption of new systems or processes.

Collaboration & Communication:

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into technical requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and training end users.

Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:

-Strong ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex financial data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

-Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) with experience creating interactive dashboards and automated reports.

-Skilled in managing large datasets across multiple systems while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.

-Expertise in designing and implementing automation solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve decision-making accuracy.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization; familiarity with scripting or automation tools preferred.

- Experience with enterprise systems such as MyUFL, MyUFMarketplace, Kronos, or similar ERP/financial platforms.

- Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical and process solutions.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to nontechnical audiences and provide effective user training.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively with finance, IT, and operational teams to design solutions that meet stakeholder needs. High attention to detail while managing large volumes of data and complex workflows

- Adaptability to learn new technologies quickly and adjust to evolving business needs
