Job Description:

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry level Quality Assurance Analyst to join Applications Development and Integrations (ADI), a unit within UFIT.

ADI maintains and operates the software that powers UF’s enterprise-wide computer systems creating the technological foundation for the campus’ academic and administrative business functions. ADI is looking for skilled team members who enjoy using their creative talents to produce business solutions which address the needs of, and create efficiencies for, core business offices at UF.

The Quality Assurance Analyst works with internal and external customers to define scope of testing for projects, individual functions and business processes to test and to testing accountability based on the complexity of individual functions and/or processes.

They create and execute manual, automated and other tests per the scope and requirements of the project and they compile and interpret test results for reporting purposes. They also often serve as the testing lead on small and medium sized projects.

Expected Salary:

$55,000 -$58,000; commensurate based on education and experience. 

Required Qualifications:

Preferred:

The ideal candidate will possess the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Associate’s degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience.
  • Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
  • Software testing, software development, systems analysis, or quality assurance methodologies
  • Technical writing and systems documentation including Business process flow diagrams.
