Job Description:

Customer Service

• Process ID requests in person and through the online portal; troubleshoot mobile ID activations; perform point of sale transactions as needed; print and deliver or mail ID cards or badges to individual customers and customer groups, including students, faculty, staff, program-specific groups, and others as directed

• Assist customers by providing information, responding to questions, and resolving issues (in-person, by telephone, or other means of communication); attend virtual/in-person meetings as needed

• Provide GatorOne services at the Health Science Center satellite office as needed

• Ensure exceptional customer service in all interactions

Administrative Responsibilities

• Assist with training and supervision of part-time student and OPS employees as directed; assist in developing weekly staff work schedules; assist in assigning and coordination of daily tasks for staff

• Responsible for opening and/or closing of the office as needed

• Monitor and respond to inquiries via the Business Services centralized e-mail account as directed; provide relevant information to supervisor or other management staff as needed

• Assist with oversight, maintenance, cleaning, shipping for repair, and other functions as directed for card printers

• Assist in developing and updating procedures manuals for GatorOne Office operations

• Maintain and update information on video monitors located in the GatorOne Office

• Assist in developing new programs, providing information to parents and students during Preview, and other services as directed

Fiscal Responsibilities

• Process daily credit card sales transactions

• Assist with end of day audits, filing daily paperwork, entering data in spreadsheet for internal and external sales as needed.

• Serves as backup for reporting and recording end of month inventory (cards and supplies).

• Provides supporting documentation for accounting representatives as directed.

• Assists with ensuring accurate and complete records for all work performed.

Develop reports, handle special projects and other duties as assigned

Criminal background check is required

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:

• Normal ID Card Office operating hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

• Flexibility to adjust normal work schedule is required to meet department needs of occasional evening or weekend work

Expected Salary:

$18.00 to $19.00 Hourly

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience.

Preferred:

• Demonstrated strong customer service skills

• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in utilizing computer technology and appropriate software applications for card production, mobile IDs, and financial reporting

• Demonstrated strong communication skills (verbal and written)

• Demonstrated strong organization skills

• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively; ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures

• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
