Job Description: |
The Multidisciplinary Diagnostic and Training Program (MDTP) is a Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources (FDLRS) specialized multidisciplinary university center at the University of Florida in the College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics funded by the Florida Department of Education.
The MDTP team has an opening for an Office Assistant. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Process incoming mail, faxes, records, and referral packets
- Scan and file client records accurately and securely
- Maintain and update client referral log
- Prepare client charts and essential paperwork for appointments
- Support program faculty and staff with tasks aligned to MDTP grant deliverables
- Perform other duties as assigned

Expected Salary: |
$15.00 per hour |
Minimum Requirements: |
Graduate-level student with strong organizational and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage responsibilities in a multidisciplinary office environment. Committed to contributing 20 hours per week for a minimum of one year.

Preferred Qualifications: |
- Current graduate student
- Availability to work 20 hours per week
- Commitment to remain in the role for at least one year (two years preferred)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience with scheduling, record-keeping, or similar tasks is a plus
- Experience with Adobe and Microsoft preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, interact professionally, and effective writing and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
- Personable with great verbal and written communication
