• Maintain accurate records and update the UFSSS database in compliance with U.S. DOE regulations.
• Facilitate workshops and presentations related to academic skills, career planning, and personal development.
• Assist in the coordination of graduate/professional school visits, textbook lending library, and other support services.
• Supervise student workers, peer mentors, and volunteers.
Program Coordination and Evaluation
• Coordinate program services, events, and activities aligned with grant goals and objectives.
• Support student recruitment, intake, orientation, and eligibility verification for the UFSSS program.
• Assist with the development of semester academic progress reports and contribute to the Annual Performance Report (APR) for the U.S. Department of Education.
• Help maintain an annual calendar of workshops, events, and support activities.
• Contribute to program planning, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Special projects to meet mission and goals of the project as assigned by the Director.
• Oversee affiliated student groups or organizations such as the TRIO Honor Society.
Curriculum and Instruction
• Assist in the development and instruction of first-year experience courses or other academic support courses as needed.
• Design and deliver workshops on study strategies, critical thinking, time management, and related topics.
Outreach and Communication
• Serve as a liaison between the UFSSS program and campus offices, faculty, and student services.
• Provide information to prospective students, parents, faculty, and campus stakeholders regarding academic programs, financial aid, and career development.
• Contribute to writing and editing program proposals, grant documents, and reports.
