Job Description:

Software and Data Quality

• Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties and identify problems.

• Assists with analyzing current processes and procedures to create future configurations which lead to gains in efficiency and cost savings.

• Assists in the identification of test scenarios and their execution to ensure proper system operation and freedom from defects.

• Review all software code, scripts, and reports for quality and accuracy.

• Create both manual and automated test plans for new code or software releases.

• Lead "Change Management" processes on the data team.

• Perform "logic" reviews of data and facilitate improved workflows for data management.

• Document and track defects using bug tracking tools

• Define and monitor quality metrics to measure testing effectiveness and improve overall product quality.

AT Testing Leadership and Facilitation

Strategic Leadership

• Lead advisory testing group responsible for UAT of online coursework.

• Work with development team to understand requirements and create test plans based on requirements and user stories.

• Provide guidance and training to advisory group members on testing procedures

Testing Process Facilitation

• Facilitate UAT sessions with the advisory group to gather comprehensive feedback.

• Validate that online coursework meets specified requirements and user expectations through advisory group feedback.

Analysis and Reporting

• Synthesize findings from the advisory group into actionable recommendations.

• Prepare detailed test reports based on advisory group input.

Communication and Collaboration

• Attend regular project meetings (daily stand-ups, project meetings, etc.).

• Work closely with multiple stakeholders including developers and end users.

• Provide clear documentation and reporting on quality issues.

Other Duties as Assigned

Work Hours:  8:00 am – 5:00 pm M-F

Will require travel for assigned business purpose minimally (1-2/quarter)

This position is time limited.

 

Expected Salary:

$75,000 - $85,000

Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing
• Expérience in Agile/Scrum environnent
• Intermediate programming knowledge
• API testing
