Responsible for the coordination of a comprehensive strategic marketing plan to inform, increase awareness, participation, and the utilization of the programs, services
- Develop and implement storytelling strategies across multiple channels – including websites, social media, print and digital platforms – using a variety of mediums such as graphic design, print materials, photography, and videography.
- Write and edit written communications, collaborating with Division of Student Life Marketing & Strategic Communications as required
- Design original visual content that supports wellbeing related marketing campaigns and departmental initiatives, ensuring visual consistency and accessibility standards are in alignment with university and divisional brand requirements.
- Manage and maintain the health and wellbeing portfolio websites, regularly updating content and layout to reflect current services, programs, resources and priorities.
- Coordinate efforts to support event coverage with Division of Student Life Marketing & Strategic Communications through photography, videography, and real-time social media engagement.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with departmental and University policies, guidelines, and other relevant regulations
- Collaborate consistently with other departments, ambassadors, and unit leaders to create innovative and effective marketing approaches.
- Recommend, maintain, disseminate, and enforce policies, procedures, and guidelines for areas of responsibility
Responsible for project management and determination of workflow for completion of marketing or communication needs
- Determine and manage the workflow for health & wellbeing-related creative services requests, establishing timelines, communicating project status, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
- Collaborate with departmental partners to define needs and goals for project requests
- Maintain organized archives of marketing assets including media coverage, imagery, design files, and digital backups that support continuity and future design development
- Collaborates with Division of Student Life Marketing & Strategic Communications in the implementation of policies and procedures relating to the marketing and communications processes and procedures
- Provide updates to senior leadership and program coordinators on the progress and performance of marketing campaigns. Report on key metrics, outcomes, and improvements related to communications efforts.
Manage print projects and assist with communicating to external vendors
- Prepare artwork files for print, ensuring accuracy and alignment with vendor specifications
- Coordinate the purchase of marketing materials including print collateral, signage, promotional items, event needs, etc.
Perform other related functions including developing reports and handing special projects.
- Gather information, analyze data, and compile reports to maximize effectiveness, efficiencies, strategies, and inform management decisions and/or department goals; Manage and utilize online content and marketing analytics
- Serve on Division of Student Life or University of Florida committees as needed
- Serve as a member of the Student Life Marketing Event Coverage Team as needed

Preferred: |
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations/communications, graphic design, or advertising
- Demonstrated experience in creating and managing and measuring marketing strategies, content creation and digital engagement
- Project management experience; ability to manage multiple projects and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a fluctuating and competing priorities
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in managing printing processes and pre-press production requirements
- Demonstrated experience in brand management
SKILLS:
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Canva
- Demonstrated proficiency in social media platforms
- Demonstrated experience in website design and editing (WordPress)
- Communication skills (verbal and written); demonstrated proficiency and excellence in writing and editing
- Highly proficient in print-related applications and techniques
- Demonstrated planning and organization skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
