Classification Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience.

Job Description:

Serves as a public contact for the office and answers inquiries by telephone, and in person. Providing parking passes for participants. Checking in participants to clinic and contacting coordinator and nursing upon participant arrival. Ordering and maintaining linen supply. Ordering of participant meals as needed, provide dietary support for metabolic kitchen, obtaining grocery supplies for studies as required. Communicates information about routine policies for participants, fields visitor and participant inquiries, questions, and directs visitors to appropriate offices or facilities.

Assists in the CRC protocol encounter process including verifying accuracy, responding to inquiries.

Facilitates mail and shipping arrival notifications. Maintains logs for storeroom, city car, and metabolic kitchen refrigerator/freezer.

Other duties required by the organization or as assigned. 

Expected Salary:

$17.00 - $19.00 hourly

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience.

Preferred:

Technical

-Basic computer skills, navigation of programs utilized by the UF CRC.

-Experience using internet search engines to research and gather information.

-Outstanding service mentality. Must be responsive to the needs of the CTSI/CRC, its investigators and staff and be oriented towards service.

-Above all else, the most critical component for success in this position, is the ability to adapt, be flexible and maintain a positive, “can do” anything attitude.

-Must enjoy interacting with dozens of people, throughout the day, with constant interruption to ongoing projects and tasks.
