Job Description:

Supervises the daily management of all project related services of Healthy Families Alachua, Columbia, Bradford and Union counties.  Recruits, trains and directs supervision of FSW Supervisors, Human Services Program Specialists and Program Assistant. Maintains all records and program standards with responsibility of program evaluation and submission of all required Healthy Families Florida and Healthy Families America reports. Develops tools and performs necessary program assessments and evaluations for quality assurance to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Coordinates data collection and statistical reporting.

Facilitates ongoing program planning and development. Develops and implements policies and procedures needed to carry out project activities and to meet the requirements for affiliation with Healthy Families Florida and credentialing with Healthy Families America. Assures that all contract requirements are met, including defined service activities and target group numbers. Assists with ongoing program funding. Prepares and facilitates Advisory Board Meetings. Plans, prepares and monitors budget, and requests amendments as needed. Attends all required Healthy Families Florida meetings and trainings.

Establishes and maintains collaboration with community partners. Provides presentations to community agencies and groups. Develops formal and informal cooperative agreements with community agencies, and maintains sound community relationships. Actively participates in interagency and community coalition meetings.

Expected Salary:

$53,000.00 - $60,000.00

Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in an appropriate area and five years of experience in program management. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred:

Administrative and supervisory experience in human service program.
Ability to provide leadership.
Experience in home visitation with a strong background in primary prevention services to the 0-3 age population.
Experience in providing services to culturally diverse communities/families and the ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.
Believes in and is comfortable with advocating for nurturing, non-violent discipline of children.
