Marketing/Programmatic Design:
The Compliance Coordinator will serve as the main marketing and design professional for UF Compliance and Ethics. Tasks will include designing and producing a variety of publications that have a vast breadth of viewership, including internal and external partners, as well as the public. Current publications include, but are not limited to, the Compliance and Ethics Annual Report, the Compliance Gazette, the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, and various program user guides. The Coordinator will also serve as the individual on the Compliance and Ethics team that will oversee special events and outreach efforts.
Human Resources Liaison:
Serves as the Human Resources administrator for UF Compliance and Ethics. This will include reviewing and approving time, personal and FMLA leave periods, serving as a point-of-contact for benefits information, and liaising with Human Resources to share relevant information with employees. Coordinator will also maintain current Position Descriptions of all department employees and assist with any employment transitions.
Training:
Coordinator will create, implement, and administer compliance training initiatives across the enterprise. Reviewing and updating current trainings, as well as the creation of new trainings will be a focus of this role. Coordinator will ensure that all training options within UF Compliance and Ethics are of the highest quality and reach and serve the broadest audiences possible. Coordinator will also suggest new training programs based on high-risk areas, as well as offering a variety of delivery mechanisms for maximum impact.
Policy Program Administration:
Assists in daily operations, coordinates meetings, maintains records in line with regulations, and serves as a point-of-contact for policy-related inquiries. Keeps abreast of policy issues in higher education and reports or escalates concerns as needed. This role ensures that university policies are appropriate, consistently applied, compliant with applicable laws and regulations, and aligned with institutional and enterprise-wide goals.
Generalized Compliance Programs Support:
The Coordinator will serve as a compliance generalist for the various programs within UF Compliance and Ethics. Programs include Clery Compliance, Privacy, Youth Compliance, Foreign Influence, Title IX, and ADA. Functions may include planning campaigns and communications, requesting and organizing data, triaging consultation requests, and communicating with internal partners.
