This administrative support role plays a key part in supporting faculty and institutional initiatives by managing letters of support, conducting research comparisons, and assisting with prestigious honorifics nominations. You will help streamline processes in InfoReady, ensuring smooth competition setup and review management, while also contributing to the success of the Celebration of Research event. Job duties - 

  • Letters of Support Management: Preparing draft letters, coordinating approvals, and tracking request

  • Basic Research Tasks: Conducting institutional comparisons and gathering relevant data for specific project needs.

  • Honorifics Nominations Support: Maintaining checklists, sending reminders to nominees and letter writers, and ensuring timelines are met.

  • InfoReady Support: Assisting with competition setup, sending review requests, and managing reports.

  • Celebration of Research: tasks as assigned

Expected Salary:

$14.00 - $18.00 hourly; commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through Federal Work-Study (FWS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week. A Federal Work-Study permit or award letter for the Summer 2021 semester is required and must be uploaded electronically to be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in Wordpress, MS Word, Canva, Adobe Photoshop or other publishing tools.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to track and follow-through on multiple projects in a timely manner.
