The program Manager for the Master of Health Administration (MHA) Weekend Program is responsible for overseeing all aspects of program development, implementation, and continuous improvement. As the primary point of contact, this role leads strategic planning, marketing, and operational execution to enhance program visibility and enrollment. The Program Manager collaborates with faculty, leadership, and external stakeholders to refine the curriculum, secure guest speakers, and ensure alignment with industry best practices. Additionally, the role involves developing and managing detailed project plans, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies while ensuring compliance with university policies. Effective communication with students, partners, and leadership is essential to facilitate engagement, track program success, and drive long-term growth. Through data-driven decision-making and proactive project management, the Program Manager ensures the seamless execution and ongoing enhancement of the MHA Weekend Program.
Strategic Planning and Project Development:
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to promote all department programs, specifically promoting the Master of Health Administration (MHA) Weekend Program, targeting working professionals, healthcare leaders, and other key audiences, in addition to other strategic initiatives. Determine and implement effective strategies for launching the MHA Weekend Program, ensuring alignment with market needs, institutional goals, and industry best practices. Facilitate the creation of program materials, oversee digital and social media campaigns, and participate in recruiting events to enhance program awareness and engagement. Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in healthcare administration education and executive/professional programs to inform program development. Collaborate with MHA faculty and program leadership to define, evaluate, and refine the weekend program curriculum, course schedule, and instructional format, ensuring alignment with the needs of working professionals. Monitor and analyze program performance metrics, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement and long-term growth. Translate business objectives into structured projects with clearly defined scope, timelines, deliverables, resources, and key success measures.
Project Management and Execution:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all aspects of the MHA Weekend Program, facilitating projects from initial concept through final implementation while ensuring adherence to UF policies, procedures, and best practices. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including work plans, resource allocation, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and contingency plans to ensure successful execution. Oversee and coordinate all program operational and logistical elements, including securing teaching locations, scheduling guest speakers, and managing program budgets. Ensure compliance with university policies by coordinating course registrations, tracking student progress, and managing program reporting. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance program efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Conduct project meetings, provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders, and ensure program initiatives were completed on schedule and within budget. Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues that impede progress, and implement best practices for project execution and management.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Serve as the primary liaison for prospective and enrolled students, providing guidance, managing inquiries, and ensuring an exceptional student experience. Facilitate clear communication with business units, key partners, and leadership to align program objectives with university priorities and enrollment strategies. Lead project meetings and proactively communicate program status, challenges, and progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. Develop and deliver reports, presentations, and data-driven insights to inform decision-making and support continuous program improvements. Conduct post-program assessments to evaluate success, identify growth opportunities, and ensure a seamless post-implementation transition. Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key external stakeholders, including healthcare executives, professional associations, and community partners, to support recruitment, program development, and guest speaker engagement.
