OPS-Sponsored Projects Non-Clerical

We are recruiting for a full-time OPS Research Interviewer/Caller to join the Texas External Quality Review Organization (EQRO) Research Evaluation Team, housed in the UF Institute for Child Health Policy. This position will serve as the primary research support, performing various administrative tasks and coordinating day-to-day research project operations, including facilitating and coordinating the collection of data through telephone surveys and other assessment instruments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day research support to faculty and staff conducting telephone interviews with healthcare providers for a large state health services quality evaluation project. Facilitate and coordinate data collection, including telephone surveys and other assessment tools.
• Assist with project planning, timelines, tasks, and data entry for project assignments. Monitor multiple deliverables for projects, track progress on assigned tasks, and ensure any issues are discussed and action points are created.
• Support the coordination of data analysis, including monitoring survey progress and drafting regular survey progress reports. Manage datasets and databases, ensuring quality assurance for data collection and the accuracy of survey results.
• Conduct literature searches using relevant databases and other sources, maintain bibliographical citation data, and prepare written summaries of literature.

$15 - $18 per hour; commensurate with education and experience

• High school diploma or Associate degree;
• General computer skills including competence with Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Ability to quickly and accurately enter structured data into a database form;
• Ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone;
• Experience conducting telephone surveys or telephone-based customer service experience;
• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Experience with computer-assisted telephone interviews and customer service experience;
• Demonstrated ability to write concise, accurate, and understandable summary notes is also a plus.
