The University of Florida is looking for a University Registrar Services Coordinator III to support the university's alternative credentials, degree audit, curriculum implementation, and catalog management processes. In this role, you will oversee the configuration, maintenance, and data entry for alternative credentials, collaborate with stakeholders on related initiatives, and serve as the primary office liaison. You will also assist with degree audit compliance, curriculum implementation, and catalog management.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Academic Processes and Coordination
- Serve as the primary coordinator of alternative credentials, including badges, the Comprehensive Learner Record (CLR), and other micro-credentials.
- Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and entry of data into relevant software systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives related to alternative credentials.
- Act as the primary office liaison to the campus community for information, training, and guidance on related processes.
- Support the university's degree audit process, ensuring compliance with undergraduate curriculum standards.
Curriculum and Catalog Management
- Assist in managing curriculum implementation, coordinating with academic departments and colleges to ensure accurate and timely implementation of curriculum changes.
- Assist in managing and synchronizing the university's undergraduate, graduate, and professional catalogs, working closely with the University Catalog editor to ensure accuracy and compliance with accreditation standards.
Other Duties
- Assist the Assistant Registrar and Associate Registrar with the testing and planning for updates to the student record system.
- Assists with coordinating projects within the Office of the University Registrar.
- Hires, trains, and supervises, and evaluates student assistants and OPS assigned to the area.
- Cross-trained to perform duties in all areas of the office during peak workload periods or as assigned by supervisor.
This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.

Expected Salary: |
$52,000 annually

- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain objectivity and confidentiality
- Understanding of university and registrar policies, procedures, and academic regulations
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, Gator360, and other student records systems is also preferred
