The College of Medicine is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to join the Department of Neurology. Having excellent organization and communication skills, this role will provide support to the faculty in the Movement Disorders Division.
About This Role:
Administrative Responsibilities
- Coordination of incoming and outgoing correspondences and independently routing to other personnel as appropriate.
- Ensures faculty leave requests, travel, inpatient week adjustments, and clinic cancellations are completed and updated within guidelines, as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining all faculty resumes and biographical sketches.
- Scheduling appointments, meetings and sets up for all Division of Movement Disorders symposiums/events
- Prepares reports, presentations, agendas, and catering for meetings
Visitor Assistance
- Prepares itineraries for site visitors and assists Education Coordinator with prospective Movement Disorders Division fellowship candidates.
- Works with outside vendors to secure paperwork for visits and shadowing of clinics.
- Provide telephone and general office backup for divisional activities, which requires thorough working knowledge of the clinic and University.
