Responsibilities: this position is responsible for:
Data infrastructure Maintenance
- Leads in the selection, installation and maintenance in data systems.
- Interfaces with vendors and University organizations to resolve data problems.
- Consults on programming and administration for applications and databases.
- Develops and maintains programs and scripts to aid in data management.
- Provides oversight for the configuration, maintenance and security of data systems.
- Manages the development of plans, schedules and requirements for the deployment and lifecycles of data systems.
Data Project Guidance
- Leads and provides oversight for development data projects of moderate to large scale.
- Develops proposals, work plans, training plans, budgets and reports of data projects.
Data Use Coordination
- Provides consultation to faculty and staff in the design and structure of data solutions for operations, development, research, and evaluation.
Other Duties as Assigned
Will travel for assigned business purpose minimally (1-2/quarter)

- Azure administrator and data experience, training and/or certifications
- Communication skills: ability to use data to tell compelling stories, both within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Solution finding skills: the ability to navigate ongoing changes related to new data sources and evolving business requirements.
- Learning mindset: data professionals who enjoy learning new skills and adapting to changes in their environment, tools, and responsibilities at pace.
- Business acumen: understand business needs, and then identify, define, and resolve business problems leveraging data.
- Ability to frame data insights in terms of business value.
