The Academic Program Specialist I functions as the Academic Coordinator for the PharmD program by working with the faculty and instructional design team for smooth course delivery by providing logistic support, general student guidance, and oversight of course learning and assessment activities from a general educator’s perspective. Will act as a primary liaison between faculty and students and communicate effectively with a broad range of people including College administrators such as the student affairs office, faculty, students, and other staff. Builds exams in the ExamSoft platform and disseminates all exam materials. Effectively communicates with distant campuses to ensure course delivery across the PharmD program on 3 campuses. Requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage multiple competing deadlines, and document and maintain records of student professionalism, and attendance/performance across courses. Must collaboratively participate as a team member and contribute to accomplishing the team responsibilities and demonstrate initiative when new situations or problems are encountered, identify when input is needed from others, and solve problems with appropriate oversight.
This position is in-person and is not eligible for remote work.
