  • Clinical activities will include the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems that interfere with individuals' functioning in the home, school, and community through outpatient psychotherapy, counseling, or behavior modification programs in individual, family, or group modalities. Conjoint and group therapeutic opportunities are available to those who desire to pursue them, this position is primarily individual therapeutic intervention and is performed via face-to-face or telehealth psychotherapy. Trainees will be formally evaluated quarterly and have the opportunity to participate in open departmental training as well.

The department requests a one-year training commitment within the general clinic, with the potential to complete an optional second year of training. This offers options for engagement in departmental flagship programs specializing in Intensive OCD Clinic, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and/or Inpatient Psychotherapy.
