This is an OPS position of 10 -15 hours weekly. Peer Mentors will connect with new and current UF veteran and military connected students to provide support, increase campus awareness and community engagement. Veteran and Military Peer Mentors will use their leadership skills and experience to encourage mentees towards health, wellbeing, and academic success. The Peer Mentor will act within an agreed scope of their training to support their mentees. Peer Mentors will also assist with activities and duties within the Collegiate Veterans Success Center (CVSC).
