| Dr. Hacisuleyman’s laboratory is seeking a postdoctoral associate at The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology in Jupiter, Florida. We joined the University of Florida, one of the nation’s top five public universities, in April 2022. The Wertheim UF Scripps Institute advances human health through biomedical research, drug discovery and clinical studies, while providing outstanding educational opportunities to inspire and train the next generation of scientists. In addition, the Skaggs Graduate School of Chemical and Biological Sciences at Scripps Research trains the next generation of scientists on our campus through its nationally recognized Ph.D. program in biomedical sciences. |

| The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience is the premier marine research institute at the University of Florida. We are in an exciting phase of growth and invite applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in one of two broad areas: Technology-Driven Integrative Physiology — connecting molecular, cellular, neural, biomechanical or developmental mechanisms to organismal function, behavior, and environmental response; OR AI-Enabled Cell, Molecular, or Genomic Biology — building advanced AI, machine learning, and other computational approaches to address basic biological questions. The Whitney Lab is a research-focused institute committed to technology-driven marine bioscience. Our investigators leverage a broad diversity of organisms to address fundamental questions in biology, with potential applications to issue in human health, natural resources, and the environment. We seek an exemplary, creative, and collaborative scientist who will take advantage of Whitney’s unique marine setting and contribute to our interdisciplinary research mission. |

| Reporting to the President of the University of Florida and a member of the President’s Cabinet, the Executive Vice President for Health Affairs (EVPHA) serves as the university’s chief academic health officer, with overall responsibility and accountability for the education and research missions of UF Health. Working in close collaboration with the president and system CEO of UF Health’s rapidly expanding statewide clinical enterprise, the EVPHA provides shared strategic leadership for one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic health systems and serves as an ex-officio member of the UF Health Corporation Board. UF Health includes six health colleges and a cadre of internationally recognized research institutes and centers. As the principal advocate for the health sciences, the EVPHA will elevate the stature, visibility and impact of UF Health’s research and academic missions while advancing the university’s aspirations as a leading public research institution. |
