The Empowering UF Team is recruiting a Finance Implementation Team Lead for the Foundation Data Model (FDM) as part of the Workday Finance Implementation Team. This role leads efforts to translate the legacy system chart of accounts to the new Workday FDM structure. The FDM Lead conducts working sessions with stakeholders to gather, understand, and analyze business needs and internal and external reporting requirements that influence how the FDM should be structured and mapped. Based on the defined requirements, the Lead collaborates closely with the stakeholders to translate legacy data and reporting requirements to the FDM structure. The Lead also enters and maintains FDM mapping data using a variety of support and configuration tools, configures new FDM values and hierarchies in Workday, and reviews and unit tests FDM-related business processes, reports, and security roles to ensure accuracy and alignment with business requirements. The Lead is also responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of the FDM mapping data and facilitating its use across the project for system conversion and cut-over. The incumbent participates in communicating system changes and their impacts, assists in developing end-user training and job aids, and contributes to the development of FDM governance processes. This role maintains an understanding of key project milestones and deliverable dates, ensuring that FDM work keeps pace with expected delivery dates, and communicates team status to project leadership on a timely basis.
