| Job Description: |
Assisting faculty, residents, and dental students chairside in the care of patients. Taking and developing x-rays. Instruction of preventive dental techniques and oral hygiene with patients. Maintain dental records in Axium.
Maintains operatories, stock mobiles and ensures regular maintenance of clinical equipment. Assist in organizing and controlling the use of clinic supplies and medications. Assists in the sterilization of dental instruments.
Participates in student education of auxiliary utilization.
Learns new ways and methods through participating in in-service training. (i.e., required to maintain current certification in CPR, six hours of credit every two years.)
Assists as needed with answering phones and making patient appointments.
