Job Description:

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking a talented and motivated part-time Studio and Field Production Video Intern to join UFIT Video, a unit within UFIT, for the Spring through Fall 2026 semesters. This paid internship offers college students the opportunity to develop hands-on production skills and gain real-world experience to help launch a successful career in information technology and media production.

The Center for Instructional Technology and Training (CITT), part of the Office of Academic Technology within UFIT, empowers faculty and staff with the knowledge, skills, and tools to enhance teaching and learning. Our services include instructional design, video production, assessment technologies, and exploration of emerging educational tools. Gain hands-on experience and a 360° view of professional video production — from concept to final delivery — through a year-long internship with the Center for Instructional Technology and Training’s Video Production Team.

As a Field Production Video Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop, record, and edit lecture videos and digital learning content
  • Operate professional studio equipment, including digital cameras, lavalier microphones, teleprompters, and video capture systems
  • Assist with on-campus field shoots, mastering outdoor video and audio production techniques
  • Explore emerging technologies such as virtual, augmented, and mixed reality (VR/AR/MR), as well as 360° video
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the creative and technical workflows that bring UF’s studio productions to life

This internship offers a unique chance to work behind the scenes in UF’s professional video studios, collaborate with experienced producers, and create content that supports teaching, learning, and innovation across campus.

Expected Salary:

$16.00 per hour

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

The ideal candidate should have a desire to gain knowledge of the video production process, including: DSLR cameras, 3-point lighting, professional audio, and Adobe editing software.
