Job Description:

The Department of Neurology in the College of Medicine is seeking an OPS staff member to provide research administration support. This position provides essential administrative support to the Department of Neurology, contributing to the efficiency, accuracy, and timely completion of key departmental functions, including fiscal management and research administration reporting. This role supports seamless coordination and enhances overall service delivery within the department.

About This Role

Departmental Reporting

  • Run monthly departmental financial reports
  • Verify report accuracy and distribute timely summaries to department stakeholders
  • Provide data to support improved decision-making and service consistency

Clinical Trial Tracking Log Documentation

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor department tracking logs for Clinical Trials, Contracts, and other critical activities
  • Monitor and document invoiceable services for invoicing
  • Develop and maintain OnCore CTMS reports for accurate assessment of workload and protocol management
  • Ensure logs are current and easily accessible for audit and management purposes.

Financial/Fiscal Support 

  • Facilitate the collection of backup documentation for fiscal processing and myUFL system entry
  • Complete monthly Departmental Financial Reconciliation

Other Duties as Assigned

 
Expected Salary:

$20 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of appropriate experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and report tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with fiscal documentation processes and university financial systems is preferred.
