The Department of Community Health and Family Medicine (CHFM) in the College of Medicine at the University of Florida seeks a dedicated Family Medicine physician to join UF Health Family Medicine – Haile Plantation. This faculty position offers the opportunity to practice full-scope primary care in a supportive, team-based setting while also engaging in the academic mission of a top-ranked public university. The final candidate will teach medical students and residents during patient care activities and participate in educational conferences, seminars, and lectures. This position is non-tenure accruing. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Full-time is strongly preferred; however, part-time will be considered depending on the clinic and the applicant’s needs.
Clinical Duties:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care at UF Health Family Medicine – Haile Plantation.
- Participate in clinic call rotations and, if desired, inpatient rounding.
- Collaborate with and supervise advanced practice providers in a team-based care model.
- Support and participate in faculty group responsibilities, including quality initiatives and clinical innovation projects.
Educational Activities:
- Teach and mentor medical students and Family Medicine residents during patient care activities.
- Contribute to the academic environment through lectures, seminars, or scholarly presentations.
- Engage in professional development and scholarship, with departmental support for publishing and presenting at regional or national meetings.

Expected Salary: |
Salary commensurate with academic rank upon hire. In addition to the base salary, Earned Variable Compensation (EVC) is earned and paid quarterly.
