Job Description:

The UF College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Office of Advancement, seeks an articulate, self-assured, self-motivated, personable, and productive person to aid constituent relations and external engagement. Tasks include:

  • Assist in developing and managing the Dean’s Leadership Council’s board engagement, communications, special projects, and programming. Assist in identifying, recruiting, and supporting new board members. Ensure excellence and consistency of board recognition processes and deliverables.
  • Help manage logistics, communications, deliverables, and special projects for other college department boards.
  • Assist with event and meeting planning, including drafting agendas, managing RSVPs, assisting with set-up and break-down, contracting vendors, taking meeting minutes and coordinating schedules.  
  • Help maintain and update our alumni contact information and mailing lists.
  • Assist with office duties, such as office mailings, filing, and making copies.
  • Assisting with donor relations and stewardship programming, such as mailing thank you notes to donors.
  • •Other duties as assigned.

This part-time position will be required to work up to 20 hours per week between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday (occasional nights and weekends with advance notice). Weekly work hours must be in at least two (2) hour blocks.

Expected Salary:

The salary is $14-$16 per hour based on experience.
