Job Description:

Responsible for compiling data and completing college surveys, including but not limited to the annual AACSB Accreditation Staff Compensation & Demographics and BSQ Programs surveys (which report on the college's staff/faculty demographics, academic programs, enrollment, graduation, and placement). Reviews, interprets, and analyzes the data required for the surveys. Manages other accreditations sought by the college.

Coordinates and prepares college responses to various Board of Governors (BOG) academic program reports, including the BOG Accreditation Survey, BOG Accountability Plan, and BOG 7-year Program Reviews.

Implements college-wide coordination of academic accountability reports such as Faculty Assignment Reports, Academic Activities Report, and Effort Tracking, and provides direction/instruction to Academic Departments, Schools, Programs, and Center staff in completing those academic processes. Directs staff on data required for academic reporting, reviews work, and evaluates results. Researches and resolves complex issues related to academic accountability reports. Ensures compliance with College, University, and State procedures and policies. Independently responsible for establishing college procedures and policies to maximize the optimal outcome for the college and to meet deadlines. Compiles and interprets data for Faculty Assignment Reports for Dean’s Office personnel and electronically inputs that data into Effort Tracking. Completes Effort Reports for Dean’s office and others under the supervision of the Senior Associate Dean.

Implements faculty review processes each year - promotion, tenure, 3-year review, Post Tenure Review, Sustained Performance, Distinguished Professor award, peer teaching reviews. Independently reviews, evaluates, and modifies college procedures, develops review calendars, and communicates with academic units. Provides direction/ instruction to the Academic Departments, School, Program, and Center staff in the completion of faculty review processes. Routinely reviews college policies and implements changes required to keep the college in compliance with UF and Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations.   Maintain college faculty count data.

Independently formulates college policies and procedures related to various college-wide annual activities such as faculty reviews (faculty annual reports, Teaching Portfolios, annual letters of evaluation & peer review of teaching), salary letters, professorship letters, department and administrative reviews, Board of Governor Center Reporting (including Center Director annual center reporting), and SACS review. Assists the Senior Associate Dean in preparing and distributing individual letters of evaluation to program directors, staff, and center directors. Administers college and university-wide faculty programs such as tenure clock extension requests, summer grant applications, and reporting.

Manages the college curriculum process, including guiding requests through the appropriate approval steps in the Academic Approval system, obtaining faculty votes and entering decisions, and assisting departments and program directors where necessary. Ensures that curriculum procedures and requests meet College and University policies. 

Serves as the college degree certifier.  Oversees degree certification and ensures degrees have been certified by the certification deadline each semester.

Serves as project manager for any changes in educational delivery platform or funding model for Hough Graduate School of Business programs.

College Grade Coordinator for the Warrington College of Business. Evaluates and submits requests for Department Grade Coordinator Security (add/remove) and Authentication of Authorized college signatures. Authorizes department grade coordinators in the online grading system each term. Acts as college Change of Grade (COG) coordinator. Reviews and approves all COG for the college.

Manages Senior Associate Dean’s and Associate Dean’s schedule commitments, makes travel arrangements (state, national, and international), and prepares travel and expense reimbursements. Receives, reviews, and prioritizes mail; prepares responses for the Senior Associate Dean’s and Associate Dean’s review. Researches and collects necessary information that will serve as a basis for formulating correspondence, presentations, and responses. Maintains confidential files and correspondence.

Requests annual professional development program budgets from program directors and ensures the college website outlines how fees are utilized.

Expected Salary:

$68,000 - $73,000 commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

Knowledge and experience with College and University policies and procedures, applicable computer programs, applications and skills.

Ability to work under pressure, with the flexibility to respond to changing priorities and fluctuating workloads.

Strong organizational work skills, defining tasks, prioritizing assignments, and following through on all projects independently.

Ability to coordinate, research, and articulate details of policies and procedures, meet deadlines, and work effectively with others throughout the College and University community to comply with their needs and requirements.

Comprehensive knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft, including Effort, AAR, FAR, and Faculty Development.
