FWS Student Assistant – Clerical & Admin

The Department of Geography in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking a student to assist with office support and provide general administrative support for the department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide office coverage and greet and direct visitors to the department
• Perform general office tasks
• Answer and route phone calls and take messages as needed
• Help with the general organization of the department’s main office, classrooms, and other spaces
• Other duties as assigned

This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through Federal Work-Study.

• Must maintain a 2.0-grade point average.
• Able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
