Classification Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Job Description:

Design and manage data file systems from multiple research projects that include multiple data sets using a variety of database and statistical software tools, for example, SAS, SQL, and Excel.

Optimize data summary and reporting using various software tools including SAS programming, SQL code, Excel Macros (Visual Basic), and running stored procedures; generate output for presentation in scientific reports, conference presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.

Conduct statistical data analyses, write statistical programming code for software such as SAS, Stata, S-Plus, SPSS, and participate in interpretation of results to be presented in scientific reports, conference presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.

Participate in design and implementation of research and evaluation studies.

Other duties as assigned.

Expected Salary:

$65,000 - 75,000

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Diverse skills in data management, programming, and statistical methods; ability and experience working with a number of software packages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, Stata, Excel, and Access).

Ability to work independently, with initiative, manage time and work with minimal supervision to analyze problems and take appropriate action to complete projects.
