Responsibilities to include:
Implementation and Facilitation
- Lead and support a team of several dozen instructors and/or assessors facilitating the Math Matrix, ensuring high- quality implementation and participant engagement.
- Develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for instructors and/or assessors.
- Establish and maintain regular communication with instructional staff through check-ins, office hours, and feedback loops.
- Monitor course facilitation metrics, including submission turnaround times and participant progress, and collaborate with management to address issues.
- Provide timely, formative, and substantive feedback and ongoing support to instructors and/or assessors.
- Provide timely, formative, and substantive feedback with fidelity, as well as logistical and content support to Math Matrix participants, supporting their successful course completion.
- Serve as an instructor for Math Matrix courses, modeling best practices in online mathematics instruction.
- Represent the Lastinger Center at local, regional, national, and international events, training, and meetings to support mathematics implementation efforts statewide.
Collaboration and Team Support
- Foster a collaborative “Community of Experts” among instructors, assessors, and navigators.
- Serve as a liaison between instructional staff, management, and technical support teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives within the Mathematics Team and across the Center.
Research and Data Collection
- Assess and monitor instructor fidelity in rating and feedback practices; provide retraining and support as needed.
- Use Lastinger Learns reporting system to track instructor caseloads and participant engagement.
- Coordinate and manage participant progress monitoring, including self and administrative withdrawals, retakes, and remedial support processes as needed.
Content Development
- Collaborate with content developers and subject matter experts to design and refine professional learning experiences, both online and in-person.
- Analyze participant and instructor feedback to inform iterative improvements to training content.
- Curate, create, and organize high-quality mathematics resources to supplement professional learning experiences.
Other duties as assigned
• Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned. • Participate in internal planning, professional learning, and strategic development activities.

Preferred Qualifications:
|
- Experience with online or in-person teaching mathematics and/or education and online learning platforms.
- Mathematics coaching experience.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to changing priorities.
- A strong commitment to and deep knowledge of research-based and standards-based strategies for K12 Mathematics curriculum development, instruction, and assessment.
- Commitment to the creation of original, engaging and effective student-centered content for the benefit of educators and students.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics education or a closely related field.
- Classroom K-12 mathematics teaching experience in the United States.
- Proficiency with Technology (Microsoft, Google Suite, LMS platforms, Virtual Meeting tools such as Teams and Zoom, and Project Management tools such as MS Project, Trello).
