Job Description: |
- Florida 4-H is seeking a creative and motivated Work Study student to join our team as a Digital Media & Communications Assistant. This role is ideal for students interested in digital marketing, public relations, design, or communications. The selected candidate will play a key role in enhancing the visibility and engagement of the Florida 4-H program through digital platforms. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating our website, creating visually compelling promotional materials, editing short-form videos and social media reels, and writing blogs and press releases that reflect the mission and impact of 4-H.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, updating, and maintaining content on the Florida 4-H website.
- Create engaging digital materials such as flyers, brochures, and graphics using Canva.
- Edit and produce social media reels for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Write blog posts, press releases, and promotional copy that highlight 4-H programs and achievements.
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure digital content aligns with branding and outreach goals.
- Support other communications and marketing tasks as needed.

Minimum Requirements: |
- Must be a current student eligible for Federal Work Study.
- Experience using Canva or other graphic design tools to create marketing materials.
- Basic video editing skills, especially for social media reels
- Strong writing and editing skills for blogs, press releases, and web content.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation strategies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
