University of Florida Seeking Nephrologist

The University of Florida, Department of Medicine invites applications within the Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Renal Transplantation from board certified/board eligible nephrologists who wish to join a thriving quaternary academic center at the level of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor. Requisite attributes for the successful candidate include a commitment to service, a strong sense of teamwork, and a desire to train tomorrow’s physicians.

Please note that the responsibilities for this position are limited to providing clinical nephrology care in the inpatient setting at the University of Florida. This is an academic “nephro-hospitalist” role in which the successful candidate will deliver inpatient nephrology consultations and follow-up care across medical and surgical wards, step-down units, intensive care units, and an inpatient rehabilitation unit, following a 7-on/7-off schedule.

The Division of Nephrology is actively engaged in all academic missions and supports a robust array of research (both basic and clinical), educational, and clinical activities. In addition to excellent career development opportunities, the Division features numerous subspecialty nephrology clinics, comprehensive in-center and home dialysis programs, and a state-of-the-art continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) program.Affiliation with the VA Medical Center may be considered, if desired.
